problems and some of them treat Agnes as a confidante. Then a gardener is
murdered and the art teacher disappears. Agnes can't resist wandering away
from her duties to try and find out more. And an old family friend makes an
offer she can't refuse - but can she accept. As usual in this series, the
combination of interesting characters and Agnes's dithering about what to do
