Fidelis Morgan signing in Milwaukee at Mystery One

I had wondered how this signing was going to go. You see, I had a little inside information. My sister had been on the train with Fidelis from Austin to Chicago. And as it turns out, the train caught fire. And then, the new engine broke down. Which put them at their arrival quite late. But as tired as we were, especially Jennifer, we were not going to miss this signing. And I'm glad we didn't.

The lovely Ms. Morgan was already there when we arrived early and she was chatting with Richard, the owner, and David (a reviewer here on Books 'n' Bytes). She was happy and looked wonderful. A hell of lot more than I could say about me had I gone through all that. After people started coming in she signed all their books and then began to do a reading. And it was wonderfully funny. Enough to make me want the books if I didn't already have them. She then asked for a volunteer, and I stepped up. How could I turn down an offer to be bossed around by Fidelis? She read through The Passions, and while describing the facial expressions, she had me try to do them. It was a lot of fun. And I got a great t-shirt! She gave prizes to every one there, and we all had a great time. She really is a wonderful lady, and totally charming. And the really cool thing is, it comes though in her writing. If she comes anywhere near you, treat yourself and go see her.
