Reviewer Bio

Picture of Pat

I am divorced and live in Kansas City, Kansas. I live with my dog Maxine and cat Frosty. We have a small community and I participate in most of the activities. I’ve served on the Board of Directors of the corporation, the Board of Directors of the credit union and have been an officer in our local neighborhood watch. We have to attend a patrol school put on by the Kansas City Kansas Police Department in order to patrol with the police radios provided us.

I managed my husband’s law office for 17 years and when we divorced I went to work for National By-Products, LLC. This is a company that blends products that are sold to pet food companies. We both import and export products and I am office manager for the plant here in Kansas City as well as the one in Fairfax, Missouri.

I love to read and spend most of my spare time doing just that. I don’t really have room to keep a lot of books but do enjoy shopping for books in the used bookstores around town. I send all of my books to my daughter, Gina Metz, who now lives in West Virginia. We have the same tastes in books. She also does reviews for BooksnBytes.

My daughter Lisa lives right down the street from me and manages an office that specializes in rehabbing houses and rentals. She is also a reader but leans more toward romance. My granddaughter Kayla will graduate high school this year and loves to read. She alternates between romance and fantasy.

I enjoy reviewing for BooksnBytes. I have read books by a lot of authors that I probably would not have discovered on my own. Between the review books and RAM recommendations I don’t think I will live long enough to read everything I want to read.
