The squirrels are disappearing from Central Park, in mass. no remains. no traces. Because of her constant stream of Letters to the Editor of the New York times, complaining of being harassed by squirrels in the park, Eileeeen is featured as the main suspect in the case. Protesting her innocence, Eileeeen sends out a call for help to RAM. Jane Haddam, Beth, KS, Mark, Sarah, and Woodstock pool their resources to hire Nero Wolfe, who sends them to check out Central Park, while Archie researches the various uses of squirrels on the Internet.
