Earthquake Cake

1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 German Chocolate cake mix
1 pound powdered sugar plus 1 cup more
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Place coconut and pecans in greased baking pan, 11"x14".

Mix cake according to package directions and spread on top of coconut and pecans.

Mix butter, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar together.

Spoon blobs here and there on top of cake mix. (You will not be able to spread these blobs out, just sort of drop them in a smeary fashion.)

Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Cool before serving.
