Maggie May's (my wife) Salsa
----------------------------
(this is a double batch, I believe)

2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) tomatoes, we use ThriftyMaid, Hunts aren't bad, but the brand CAN make a difference in the taste quality
2 large cloves garlic
1 bunch green onions, use all of the white parts and about 1/2 of the green parts
2 small cans peeled green chilies, El Paso is a good brand, you can get diced if you want but you're gonna chop up everything anyway
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
1-2 large jalapeno peppers, depending how hot you want it
salt to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
couple dashes Tabasco sauce
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
juice from a lime or two

Put it all in a food whacker and cut it up nice, let sit for a couple hours while the flavors marry.
