Cornmeal Pancakes
From Patty Schwaderer Robar

Pour 1 cup boiling water over 3/4 cup cornmeal. Stir until thick.

Add 1/4 cup sour milk.

Beat in 2 eggs until smooth.

In a separate bowl, stir together:
1 cup sifted flour
1 Tbs baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda

Add to cornmeal mixture.

Stir in 1/4 cup salad oil.

Bake on hot griddle.
