OREO DESSERT

Package of Oreos
Vanilla ice cream
Fudge or Chocolate ice cream topping
Cool Whip
Garnishes (nuts, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc)

Crush a package of Oreos and pat them into the bottom of a freezer-safe pan or bowl.

Cover with softened vanilla ice cream and freeze.

After freezing, pour a jar of fudge or chocolate ice cream topping (not syrup) over the ice cream and freeze again.

Then spread a container of Cool Whip over the syrup.

Can garnish with nuts, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc.

Freeze again. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving.

Friend Karen makes hers with peppermint ice cream, or when that's out of season, mint choc chip. Oooh, yummy.
