Not all of the following is true.
Jim Barker is a Scottish Bairn, born and bred. He showed
artistic tendencies at an early age by drawing on the walls of
his home in indelible india ink. On leaving school he pursued a
career as an advertising artist and part-time terrorist with his
local newspaper. Currently he scratches a living as a freelance
graphic designer and illustrator. He'd produce more work if he
had more than three fingers on each hand. After an early
infatuation with science fiction, which resulted in a nomination
for a Hugo Award, Jim turned to crime and will quite happily
read most books involving mean streets and first person
singulars.
Other interests include a forty year battle with losing weight
and walking Cavalier King Charles spaniels.
He is currently overdosing on bears. |
