Pam's dad once said he'd rather have five Yorkshire
Terriers than five daughters. Now the mother of two daughters
she understands the sentiment, only she'd have pugs instead.
Given to telling people that she would be sending her daughters
to the convent when they become teenagers, she has now decided
to leave the children at home and she will join the convent
instead. The quiet will provide a better atmosphere for reading
with none of that tiresome housecleaning. Housecleaning
remains undone unless her dear husband of sixteen years first
goes through their home removing all potential reading materials
from her path.
Pam's younger daughter believes that her mother's favorite
activities are reading and sleeping. She agrees wholeheartedly.
Sleeping follows reading, as it is the only activity she knows
of that cannot be done while reading. Fortunately, her job of
adding up numbers and punching holes in paper allows time for
both.
Pam is a lover of good books, fine wine, not so fine wine, hard
cider, margaritas, and dark chocolate, not always in that order
and not always separately. She enjoys mysteries and suspense
written with a touch of humor, an engaging plot, and good
grammar. An attractive hero named Elvis or Ranger is always a
plus. |
