I'd like to say a word for the RAMmer
We make up a bunch o'rules then flout 'em
For folk who say we're daft on Paretsky, Crais and Grafton
We don't hardly ever seem to talk about 'em.
The Rammer is a wise and literate fellow
He has a TBR pile by his bed
He has a strange addiction to the field of crime fiction
But we like to talk of other things instead
The Spammer is a curious individual
They're spread far and wide across the land
They sit all day in front of their computer
And I bet they've got their joy stick in their hand...
I'd like to say a word for the Spammer
His brain may be slow and microscopic
He has a dull outlook 'cause he never reads a book
And chastises us for never bein' on topic

To be accepted is for what he seems to hanker
oh, isn't it a shame what he'll do to earn the name
