In St. Petersburg County Hospital, Gerald Brock, a homeless drunk, suffers from several ailments including damaged internal organs. Instead of receiving treatment, the hospital mysteriously transfers their patient to another facility. Six months later, his battered corpse is found on the street. The police accuse an associate “The Professor” of killing Gerald.

Travis Weller, the estranged son of the victim believes that a cover-up has occurred using The Professor as an easy culprit. He wants defense attorney Karen Perry-Mondori to investigate. Though still grieving the loss of a loved one, Karen finds the case intriguing. She immediately sinks her teeth into the case when Travis explains that an autopsy revealed his father’s internal organs were healthy when previous examinations showed Gerald was dying. His preliminary findings lead to the secretive genetics research firm of Consolidated Research Enterprises. Karen begins to make inquiries, which lead to the FBI and CIA becoming interested in her activities. The law enforcement officials conjure up drug trafficking charges that turn Karen into a fugitive. To clear her name, Karen needs to expose Consolidated Research Enterprises before she becomes the next victim.

CLASS ACTION is an explosive thriller that will excite conspiracy buffs. In spite of the powerful attack by indestructible foes, Karen is a heroine who will garner much reader admiration for adhering to her morals. Catherine Arnold has created an electrifying individual who helps energize the non-stop story line into full action. Ms. Arnold appears heading towards the lofty levels of the legal thriller stars where Linda Fairstein and John Grisham reside.
