The latest Anna Pigeon novel find’s Nevada Barr’s protagonist back in Mississippi and on the first page in a dress with heels. Don’t panic fellow readers. Anna’s at a Wedding when her beeper reads 911 and we’re off....

There’s a dead body at the Park. How did he get there? Is it a homicide?

Who’s hunting on park grounds and who doesn’t want the slaves buried behind the visitor’s center identified? Meanwhile for series reader’s there are the continuing questions. Will Anna and Paul become a couple? Will that awful Randy ever show Anna any respect? Barr throws all these questions at her readers and more. In this fast paced outing I found myself entertained throughout and absolutely satisfied at the ending. This is a "don’t miss" for fans of the series .
