Kate Russell has run away from her past and thinks she has found the perfect place in Carystown, Kentucky. But Kate has not really escaped the past. Kate finally makes the decision to reveal Isabella’s visit to Sheriff Delanay of Carystown. The Sheriff takes Kate’s confession with a grain of salt and instead of investigating the site where Kate says Isabella is buried the Sheriff begins to investigate Kate.
Soon bad things really begin happening in the small town of Carystown. A teen-aged boy suddenly drops dead. Kate’s good friend’s mother is found viciously murdered.
Secrets that have long been hidden in the town of Carysville begin to come to light. Even Kate’s past is dredged up.
Isabella Moon is a wonderful complicated book. It is hard not to believe in spirits after reading Isabella Moon.
