Aunt Peg ropes Melanie into attending kennel club meetings so solve a minor problem which puts her on hand when a member is killed outside the meeting place. The only witnesses are the victims beagles. Melanie must find the killer and simultaneously cope with a visit from her ex-husband.

She hid the clues well on this one. I had a hard time figuring out whodunnit.
