Romance and fantasy collide in these enchanting stories featuring dragons – and love – in all their many forms. Four of today’s most popular authors bring to life mythical creatures, otherworlds of yesterday and today, and the passionate melding of hearts.
From a virgin princess’ first love to a shape-changing samurai bridegroom, from a young widow and her sexy handyman’s secret project to a knight and his distressed damsel, the courage, beauty, and strength of dragons inspire the most unforgettable stories ever told.
This was a delightful book with 4 dragon stories in it, each set in a different theme. From Two make believe worlds, to Ancient Japan, to modern day Santa Fe each has a different view on dragons.
The one that really stands out though is Anna and the King of Dragons by Karen Harbaugh. Set in 1650 Japan a young woman, from Holland, finds herself suddenly orphaned. In return for rescuing her from drowning, a dragon asks for books. Does Anna honor the request? And who is the handsome Samurai that keeps showing up just in the nick of time? The novella format really did not do justice to this tale. It deserved a full length book of its own to properly explore the characters, and expand on a fascinating theme of Japanese Dragons.
