Murder in The Sentier is the third book in the series featuring Aimee Leduc. Aimee is a private investigator in Paris, and the daughter of a police detective. She owns a security firm with her partner Renee. They specialize in computer security.

In this book Aimee is approached by a woman who offers information on her mother who disappeared when she was much younger. It gets her involved with some terrorist factions and some family history. All the while she’s trying to keep up with her end of the business obligations. The book also fills us in some more on Aimee’s background.

This book was written by some one who loves Paris and has spent time doing the research. It’s highly descriptive of the locations and feeling of the place. It keeps a nice pace throughout the book, and is a quick read. I really enjoyed it.
