Isabelle Gives ‘Em Hell is a headline Isabelle Leonard is trying her best to live down. Isabelle met Laurence when he was on a ski vacation in her hometown in Vermont. Laurence asked Isabelle to marry him and move to New York and she agreed. Twenty-two minutes before the ceremony was to take place Laurence changed his mind. The headline refers to the fact that Isabelle danced on the tables at her almost-wedding reception. She now lives in New York in an apartment with only a futon. She is tied into a lease and as a final burst of independence the day after Laurence dumped her she called the Salvation Army and had all the furniture in the apartment hauled away. Laurence picked the furniture so she gave it away. Now she is in New York and broke and badly in need of a job.

She takes a job at Becky Beldon Multimedia. Becky Beldon is a homemaker who has created an empire. Isabelle soon begins to wonder about what is really going on at Beldon Multimedia. She soon learns that the girl that previously held Isabelle’s new position is deceased. It seems a number of employees of Becky Beldon’s company have passed away and most under mysterious conditions.

As Isabelle begins looking into the past of these former employees she finds a common denominator. They have no family. Isabelle does have a sister but since they were not getting along at the time of her job interview she also stated she had no family. Only one of the employees has a family but he has just simply disappeared.

When Isabelle is attacked in her apartment she manages to escape. It seems she is being followed every place. Her lover is a Vice-President at Beldon but she can’t decide if she trusts him or if he is part of the plot.

Be sure and pick up See Isabelle Run. You won’t be sorry you did.
