Toys for Tots is a wonderful organization and fifteen authors have contributed stories to promote this project. I think all the authors put forth their best effort to make this book a success.

The Lesson of the Season by Thomas H. Cook is the story of Veronica Cross who faces her past in a bookstore at the holiday season. The Proper Trimmings by Nick Andreychuk is about a holiday dinner that we can all be glad we missed.

Chris Grabenstein writes about The Christmas Tree Thief. George Grimble has a thing about Christmas traditions and doing things in a certain order. I was ready to strangle George before I got to the end of the story.

Tony Burton has made his own contribution with a great story as well as pulling this whole book together.

Each story is unique and worthy of praise. I enjoyed the book very much and would recommend it to everyone. The stories are ones that only take a few minutes to read and the book is a size that is easy to carry with you.

Be sure and put this one on your Christmas list.
