In Paradise, Colorado, November is setting in. Abby Shaw, owner of the Divinity candy shop is busy preparing candies for the Thanksgiving season and volunteering reluctantly as assistant coach for her nephews’ youth league basketball team.

One night heading back to town after taking her nephews home, she witnesses a shooting. Abby rushes back to her brother’s house to call the police and begs him to return to the scene with her. Trouble is, they find no body, no blood, no indication that anything has happened. As Abby tries to find out what has occurred she finds herself in the midst of a puzzle that becomes increasingly threatening.

With interesting characters, a sense of the Rockies and even candy recipes included, you will find a lot to like in this series.
