The Grace and Favor series is set in the depression, In this, the first of the series, A rich family loses. all their money, lives poor in NY for a couple years then the orphaned young adults inherit this huge mansion along the Hudson River but no they are required to live in the place 10 years in order to inherit any money. The young characters are fun, and the setting is so vivid I imagined I could hear the radio playing 20's music as I read. And the mystery was different for a cozy. I like it a lot. Can't wait for the next one.
