In the sub-genre of class reunions resolving old mysterious deaths, this one is a little more creative than average. At least one can imagine the series of events leading up to the amateur sleuth involvement actually taking place. In fact my sister's classmates did a similar type gathering. And one can imagine people going through the kind of life changes these fictional characters did.

I was delighted there was less old high school angst in this one than normal in the sub-genre. And I enjoyed the plot.
