Who could imagine the death of super-wealthy, golden boy, Eric MacInnes was anything other than an accident at the exclusive, prestigious Harvard Business School? A freak accident that happened when Eric sneaked into the gym to use the hot tub.

Trying to maintain good public relations especially with the wealthy MacInnes clan, Dean Bishop appoints Assistant Professor Wim Verneer, a bottom-of- the-ladder climber looking for tenure, as liaison between the family, the Boston Police and the college. Upon closer examination, Eric's death is by no means an accident but murder. Who would want to kill this rich, golden boy?

Wim learns that rumors abound revealing that Eric and Wim were romantically involved. Police Captain Barbara Bouillard becomes aware of these rumors. When e-mails surface that proves that Wim and Eric communicated, Wim becomes the prime suspect in Eric's death. A dinner meeting with Eric's sister, Libby, makes matters so much worse for Wim when she is found strangled. Not only does Wim realizes that he's being framed, his life is, also, in danger when a gunman attempts to kidnap Win. Using his research skills, he decides to investigate on his own; an investigation that will take him from Boston to New York to Vieques off the coast of Puerto Rico. Changing his writing career as author and co-author of managerial and history books, Jeffrey Cruikshank's "Murder at the B-School" with well developed characters, fast-paced and plenty of suspects will create a following of devoted modern-crime fans.
