An exotic setting, beautiful people and an ugly crime all come together for an exciting story. Christian Delacorte was introduced in Jordan Dane’s No One Left To Scream. Christian has started an entirely new life. He has his own successful business and a wonderful relationship with Detective Raven Mackenzie.

When Jasmine Lee arrives at Christian’s door to call in a favor Christian is presented with a decision that is very difficult to make and one that will change his future. Nicholas Charboneau, a powerful figure in Chicago’s underworld, has been abducted in Brazil and Jasmine implores Christian to return to Brazil with her in order to free Nicholas. Jasmine plays her trump card and Christian agrees to help her although Raven is strongly against his traveling to Brazil.

Christian and Jasmine arrive in Brazil and go the same hotel where Charboneau was abducted. They soon receive an unsettling surprise that lets them know for sure they are not wanted in Brazil. It seems no one can be trusted even the police. Christian wonders at times if he can even trust Jasmine.

Trying to find Nicholas Charboneau in a foreign country with no assistance is a goal that is full of danger and roadblocks all along the way. Jordan Dane keeps the reader on pins and needles and throws in some voodoo in the mix. A book that keeps you guessing until the exciting and surprising conclusion and you reach the end.
