In Bellehaven, Washington, librarian Miss Wilhelmina Zukas is dealing with the funeral of a co-workerıs pet, a head librarianıs determination to create overnight camp outs in the library, and an opportunity - however reluctantly - to show off her canoeing skills. In the midst of all this, a dead body appears. Worse, the body is in the periwinkle bed at her friend Ruthıs house, and Ruth is the main suspect.

Jo Dereske writes an interesting cozy with a likable heroine and fun characters. The story holds the readerıs interest through lots of action and a twisty ending, all good fun.
