By 2013, Planet Earth has radically changed from say just a couple of decades ago. Especially different is the medical field where cures for cancer and AIDS have halted these deadly diseases. However, new strains of viruses remain out of control and insects that resided in the rain forests for millenniums have spread other diseases. Fewer children are being brought into the world because death remains a powerful enemy.
In the 1960s and 70s, many individuals chose to be frozen until a cure for their disease was found. At Alaska’s Angakok Longevity Institute, PROJECT RESURRECTION is attempting to revise three individuals who died decades ago. However, a portal between this world and the next has been opened allowing an evil essence to cross over. Only the psychic La Naya Saille realizes the danger of the resurrected souls. These malevolent beings plan to turn this world into their own playground resembling Hell unless La Naya can find a way to stop them and return balance to the universe.
This paranormal romance will appeal to New Age romance fans who enjoy a powerful supernatural tale where good and evil battle for supremacy. The heroine is the gem that lifts the tale from the ordinary as she battles with her own dark side as well as her deadly opponents. Karen Duvall provides readers with a fantastic work that should serve as the debut of a different kind of series.
