This is a fascinating book of short stories and each one totally different although murder is the subject of each story. The Parts are entitled Murder Most Modern, Murder Unclassifiable, Murder Most Genteel, Murder Fantastical and Murder Most Historical.
The stories in this book are very entertaining and I think there is something here for every reader. Even those who have no interest in magic or fantasy I am sure will find at least one story that will fascinate the reader.
I can’t say that I liked one tale better than the other because they are all so different. The great thing is you don’t have to read the book straight through (as I did) but you can skip around and pick up a story that strikes your fancy and have it completed in a short period of time. I have carried this book with me and read from cover to cover but as I waited for someone in a restaurant or on a break at work. Co-workers have picked up the book and commented on different tales.
Buy it for yourself or it would make a great gift.
