The Insider magazine team of renowned photographer Ben Harris and reporter Peter Gallagher travel to the most dangerous spots on the globe for a story. Ben and Peter are best friends and they work together extremely well. However, their relationship abruptly ends when an unknown assailant plants a pipe bomb in Ben’s van that kills Peter.
Ben vows to attain vengeance for the unnecessary death of his buddy. He knows that he was the target. Peter’s former spouse Sarah replaces him as Ben’s writer. She also wants the killer(s) brought to justice. As Ben and Sarah begin their quest, they do not know how high and deep the conspiracy goes. What they do know is that they are attracted to one another and that a killer still lurks out there wanting Ben dead.
FRAMES PER SECOND is an exciting, well-written thriller that proves Bill Eidson belongs within the upper echelons of the sub-genre. The action-packed story line never slows down for even a page. The characters seem real with interesting motives that make sense. Fans will embrace Ben as well as Mr. Eidson who has written his best tale to date.
