This was my first read in this series but you can bet I'll be reading the rest of the series. It was a fun book. Amanda Hazard and her husband (the local police chief) are expecting their first baby. Amanda is the local CPA. They are very likeable characters and the small town flair really comes through.

Amanda finds Nettie dead in her Pumpkin Patch. It appears she tripped and her oxygen came out and she died. Amanda discovers this is not the case and investigates. She searches for Nettie's little black book filled with dirt on the locals. Putting herself and her husband in danger (as well as the upcoming baby) she investigates everyone related to Nettie.

I highly recommend this book.
