The cover gives absolutely no clue this mystery is very Christmasy. Too bad because this is a very Chritmas themed story with gift making, gift giving, food sharing, holiday sales, and even the church. The primary theme is restoration of a tapestry found in a church, but a stronger secondary theme is the close knit Monday Group of stitchers at Betsey's store as they rise to the challenges of the restoration and more importantly to several crises and calamities.

The resolution of the mystery is far fetched. I cannot imagine the root cause of the mystery being "revealed" in the manner it was. Its very convoluted thinking. But it was a fun read.
