Thursday Next is working at Acme Carpet, although Acme is just a cover for SpecOps which itself is a cover for Thursday¹s work in Jurisfiction. Something she had sworn to give up. There is much going on in Swindon and in the book world. Six years after his death Mycroft has appeared as a ghost. The stupidity surplus is high, reality TV is replacing interest in reading, Felix8 is trying again to kill Thursday, and a major Jane Austin retrofit is underway. She is also dealing with two apprentices who look remarkably like Thursday herself.

If you like political satire or intelligent nonsense or if you just like books there is much to delight you in Thursday Next¹s world. Fantasy and science fiction were never more fun.
