William Morrow, 2002

This is a follow up to last year’s Fury, apparently a new series featuring True Crime writer and reporter, Frank Corso. In this book Frank is covering a trial of a Russian gangster who is being tried for the deaths of a whole lot of people in a hospital that collapsed due to short cuts taken when the building was put up.

The book moves fast and is compelling enough that I didn’t sleep till I was done. I love the tempo Ford sets in this series. And Corso is a cross between Travis McGee, Lois Lane and Bruce Wayne. I know, that sounds weird, but it really seems to fit. The way Ford writes is amazing. He draws you into his story so deftly that youdon’t even notice how fast the pages are going by.

Read this book!!!!
