The Mexican fisherman who watches Laura Finnegan as he fishes in the early morning is half in love with Laura although he only views her from a distance.

Scott Goodsell, a real estate agent, is in love with Laura and wants to marry her. At least he is in love as much as he can be with anyone other than his self. Scott is a person that you will immediately dislike.

Reggie Brooks, a detective, who has Laura, as a student in his self-defense class is so fascinated with her that his thoughts of her interfere with his job and his marriage.

Laura’s boss is highly infatuated with her. And pays for his attention.

Her best friend Vivian would move heaven and earth for Laura.

But then Laura just disappears. Is she dead? Is she alive? Who will get killed or hurt along the way? You’ll just have to read this one to find out.
