Jimmy Taggert is ready to retire after being the Sheriff for almost 20 years in small-town Darien. He and his wife are all set to travel in their brand-new motor home. That all changes when his wife is gunned down during a bank robbery, right in front of his eyes. Taggert and Mitchell Corey, Deputy Director of the FBI's Domestic Terrorism Unit, team up to hunt down the bank robbers, who are funding their own terrorist gang.

What follows is a roller-coaster thriller that begs to be a Harrison Ford or Clint Eastwood screenplay. If you can suspend your disbelief a bit, and if you enjoy non-stop thrillers, strap on your seat belt and let new-author Robert Furlani take you on a ride to the PEACE Bridge and the brink of Niagara Falls.

I'm hoping there are more books in the works, featuring Jimmy Taggert and Mitchell Corey.
