Blown Away is a book with excitement at every turn of the page. Emily Thompson is a rookie cop, hoping to work homicide but little did she know that she and her co-workers would soon be working against time to save Emily’s life.
A maniac is killing and leaving clues that point to Emily. Emily lost her father to a violent accident when she was twenty. The accident left her mother in a condition that required the balance of her life be spent in a nursing home and without the ability to speak other than to signal her daughter by batting her eyelashes. Emily was thirty when her husband was killed in a terrible car accident.
Now Emily is targeted for death on her 40th birthday. What game is the killer playing with Emily and her co-workers and for what reason? You’ll have to read the book yourself to find the answers to these questions but in my opinion it will be worth your time.
Gericke has another book coming out in June 2007 and I am going to be sure and read it.
