Series: Sunny McCoskey # 2

Sunny McCoskey owns a small, successful luncheon restaurant in California's Napa Valley. One evening after a sucessful fund raising dinner for a local political group, the owner of one of the host restaurants is found dead in his home. At first it seems he was stricken by a heart attack, but it also appears that someone else was in his home after his death and did nothing to alert authorities. As she learns more about the chain of events, Sunny can't resist asking questions, following leads, and tracking down answers.

The solution involves a long established pattern of deceit and fraud using cheap wines subsitituted for expensive ones, profits skimmed from legal businesses, and involves more than one red herring.

Along the way, the reader learns quite a bit about the heady world of expensive imported and domestic wines. And quite a few delectable meals and individual dishes inhabit the story - leaving this reader's mouth watering more than once!
