Review by Eric Russell

In this book Red Card the main character is Zeke Armstrong. Zeke is a 13-year-old teen living in Dallas, Texas. Zeke was trying to live an average life when he joined the Sundogs soccer team, but instead he has to try to find out who is trying to take out Coach Ryan and why. Will Zeke solve the mystery, will this mystery blow his cover?! Find out when you read Red Card.

Some things that I liked about this book was that Zeke a 13-year-old teen can drive a corvette! And that Zeke is a detective that helps solve cases. Also Zeke likes playing tricks on people and I think that that just makes this book all the more funnier. Also this book makes you think that the person in black that talks with Ian’s mom is the one who did it. Also I liked that Zeke was good at soccer and that he gets a scholar ship to a school.

And some things that I didn’t like about this book was that normally when you get shot in the head you normally die, so I just thought that that was unrealistic. Also something I didn’t like was that bad guys are supposed to have good aim with a gun so if they ever need to use the gun they can hit the target instead of missing every time.

Me as a reader of this book would consider kids reading this book because it’s is exciting because of all the action, has a murderer that is under cover that is still trying to kill Coach Ryan which makes the book all the more fun to read, and this book has a good plot.
