Twin Cities businessman Ken Loy is the first to die, shot between the eyes during a sunset bike ride. Half an hour later, Bob Fabian, the rich and handsome owner of the Minneapolis Times Register, meets a similar fate. It was a year ago when Loy broadsided the VW Beetle driven by Fabians wife, Valerie, killing her instantly. Coincidence? Sleuthing food critic Sophie Greenway doesn’t buy it.

If you were expecting a book about food based murders, with recipes in it, you will be disappointed. If you were looking for a mystery, this book is for you. The Author tells you who the murderer is in the first chapter ..or does she? All is not what it seems in this town of the rich and richer. Two men, shot within a short time of each other, with the same gun. Two men connected only by a tragedy. And that’s only the beginning. Throw in Sophie’s step daughter Maggie, who loves to stir up trouble, a battered wife, and Sophie’s ex boyfriend..well, the suspect list just grows right along with the body count. And just what are the men in the private dining room of the Rookery Club up to? Can Sophie figure it out, or will she be the next victim? Hugs, Molli
