Seven children first met at a Chicago's orphanage. They shared in common being unloved, abused, and unwanted. However, they forge a family so that when they became older enough to leave the orphanage, they moved into a house together. They are legally bound to each other thriugh their surname, but accept they are related through love and not blood. Three of the O'Malley crew has found God and pray the other four will follow. Lisa O'Malley is a forensic pathologist. Her everyday work life leads her to conclude that the Resurrection never occurred. US Marshal Quinn Diamond believes in God and his love for Lisa, but needs her to have faith in both the Deity and their love. Two tragedies and several frightening incidents later, Lisa is able to listen to heart and soul instead of the logical beat of her brain. Without preaching to the choir, Dee Henderson provides an exciting romantic suspense novel that returns characters from the first two novels in this endearing series (see THE NEGOTIAOTR and THE GUARDIAN). Sub-genre fans will relish the non-stop action and the growing love between the warm lead characters while the Christian reader also will find Ms. Henderson helps reaffirm their beliefs. THE TRUTH SEEKER has cross genre appeal that will lead the audience to seek other tales penned by Ms. Henderson.
