Mrs. Hudson and her friend Vi take a vacation at seaside resort. Naturally a body appears and Mrs. Hudson un-puzzles the mystery. While the story adheres to Arthur Conan Doyle's characterization of Mrs. Hudson, the ambiance, style of the story are more cozy. However it is told from the female perspective and neither Dr. Watson nor Mr. Holmes is involved so it may be more enjoyable for female readers. This was my first acquaintance with this series. I will be on the lookout for the others.
