If you are not up with the current British mystery authors, you will want to add a great many names to your list of faves after this. Keep a pencil handy. A lot of these stories are historical, from Paris during the revolution to an artist in the 1920¹s to a 15th century ghost. Sherlock Holmes, Marx and Dickens all make appearances. Rumpole¹s She Who Must Be Obeyed has a small flirtation.

There was only one I didn¹t much like; I won¹t tell you which one as it may turn out to be your favorite. With 29 stories from which to choose, you will be amused, you will be amazed, you will find many great stories and likely some new authors to seek out. Enjoy.
