ONE HIT WONDER is the newest book by Lisa Jewell. It is a bubble bath book for those nights when you’ve had a rough day. Bea Bearhorn one of the many 80s’ pop stars to have been for a brief moment on the top of the charts has died under mysterious circumstances and it falls to her younger half sister Ana Wills to come to London and sort out the pieces of her sister’s life. Once out from under the thumb of the domineering mother the two girls shared ugly duckling Ana begins to emerge as a swan. Definitely a bon-bon book ONE HIT WONDER is somehow sad and happy all at once.
