In 1978 West Los Angeles, Hollywood heavyweight Aubrey "GLAMOUR PUSS" St. George hires contractor Joseph "Mac" McGowen to construct a swimming pool on his property. Mac meets his client's wife Stella, a wannabe actress and in spite of knowing better, he soon has an affair with her. However, when Aubrey catches them in the act, he tries to beat up Stella, but Mac intercedes. During a scuffle Mac is knocked out, but when he awakens he learns he killed Aubrey when he shoved him. For the good of both their careers, Stella persuades Mac to bury Aubrey, which they do under the cement of the swimming pool.

Two decades later, Mac and Stella remain tied to the focal point of their lives. They were married and have a twenty-year-old son Troy. Although Mac is the biggest pool and spa contractor in Southern California, he remains haunted by Aubrey's death. However, a third party knows what happened on that fateful day. Mac turns to private investigator Jade Morro for help against an unknown enemy turning nastier and nastier by the day.

GLAMOUR PUSS is an exciting romantic suspense tale that sub-genre fans will fully enjoy. The story line is action-packed from the start and the key players, especially Stella and Mac are fully developed. Readers who prefer a taut thriller to complement the romance will want to peruse R.J. Kaiser's latest tale that accomplishes that and more.
