Series: Molly Blume # 4

Molly Blume Abrams is an attractive heroine. She writes a column about crime and has helped in police investigations. She is part of a close Jewish family, and you will see much of the day to day practices of the Jewish faith here. Molly is married to a rabbi, her second marriage but her first high school love.

Because of her background, Molly is asked to quietly find a young girl who has run away with someone she has met in a chat room. The family offers only reluctant help, and the man involved seems to be seeking revenge against her father.

The story starts out interestingly enough and before the book is halfway through the girl returns home. But just when the mystery seems solved things are ratcheted up a notch. However the author leads us down too many dead ends, while including everyone¹s history and bits that don¹t advance the story. With a very unsatisfying ending I could not like this book as much as I wanted to do.
