I have no interest in fishing. And yet I keep reading this series. He makes me interested in fishing while I'm reading it. Its got great characters, the author weaves a good plot,and he is that rarity among male authors, a writer to paints delightful word pictures, but then he does write about adventures in the outdoors. What more can said to recommend an author.
