The law isnıt always about justice; itıs about conflict resolution. Or so Gina Roake had heard. But this time she wanted justice, and truth. This time, or so she believed, she had an innocent client.

Stuart Gorman arrived back from a trip to find his wife Caryn drowned in the hot tub. The police suspect foul play and of course the husband is the prime suspect, Although Gina can see a number of better suspects, homicide inspector Juhle is determined to prove her client guilty and refuses to look elsewhere. Gorman and Roake are left to find the murderer on their own.

Things look dire indeed when Gorman is jailed for the crime. Meanwhile Gina and team are looking at Carynıs business partners and at a possible affair. The end comes with a few twists, and with most characters looking toward a happier future.
