Sheila Lowe writes a series about Claudia Rose, a forensic handwriting expert. Who knew handwriting could be a background for well developed, exciting plots, interesting characters and a tale you won't want to put down.

Claudia has been invited to fly to New York City to work for Grusha, a matchmaker to the wealthy. Grusha relies on handwriting, among other things, to give her a feeling about her clients. Reluctantly Claudia agrees to go for a few days and winds up in a nasty mystery as clients are frequently dying in what seems to be accidental deaths,

Claudia's own love life is strained as she attempts to solve Grusha's problems and ends up in serious danger herself. Lowe writes a good story with a tough savvy protagonist. You will learn a little about the way handwriting analysis can help show a person's character. I found this book a page turner and will be looking for more of Claudia Rose.
