It’s no secret why Mr. Margolin is a best seller. His titles have consistently profiled believable murders, likeable protagonists, solid plots, and well done research. SLEEPING BEAUTY is his latest and once again a very readable book.

Ashley Spencer is that rarest of creatures, the perfect high-school student. A force in the classroom and on the soccer field, her life changes one evening when her best friend and father are both killed leaving Ashley the sole survivor. Six months later Ashley faces another devastating tragedy when her mother is killed and the Headmistress of her school is left barely alive. It seems that all four are the victims of a serial killer and soon the police have their man, or do they?

With all the famous Margolin twists and turns he unfolds a disturbing story that spans years and trials. Ashley grows from girl to woman and when danger comes her way again she meets it with all the strength of a thriller heroine. What this book lacks in Mr. Margolin’s usually dead on forensic psychology it makes up for with a tongue in cheek look at the book world.

Margolin’s fans will not be disappointed.
