With a plot that moves quickly, this wild mix of characters - with a capital C - adds to the fun. We have lawyers with very odd lawsuits, an ancient handyman handier with wine than work, tree huggers trying to save Floridašs animals and wild areas, and the nasty greedy types who care only about money. Lawyer Lilly Cleary has taken a case that involves environmentalists against big business. All too often big business has the money needed to win. But this case is spiraling out off control as first an evil businessman dies, then one of the environmentalists is blown up.

Cleary makes a great protagonist, smart, sexy and vulnerable, and willing to overlook others transgressions. If you havenšt read Matturrošs earlier works, this will make you want to seek them out.

One word of caution save the very long dedication and acknowledgments until after you have read the book. Their serious tone may discourage you from reading what is a fun book. They do show that the author has done some serious research to aid in telling her well done story.
