Andrea Kendricks just wanted some privacy, some time alone with her boyfriend and her web sites. Friend Janet Graham, working for a local newspaper, had other plans. Like tricking Andy into a Œpretty party¹, a gathering to promote botox injections and other beautifying tricks. While there the pair get involved in an attempted shooting. The next day, one of the women ends up dead. What did she know that was so dangerous? To top things off, Andrea¹s mother Cissy becomes involved.

Andy may have grown up in a shallow hi society world, but her preference is a casual blue jean & ponytail life, with boyfriend Malone. McBride writes a witty romp of a mystery, with smart characters and fun situations.
